This spring season wrapped up on Sunday. And I wanted to take a day to think about the past week and reflect on what I’ve accomplished and what you guys have made!
I was able to get my hour in almost every day. Sometimes it was for prepping patterns and sometimes it was for sewing itself. I had set a goal at the beginning of the week to try to sew one thing for every child. Although I didn’t accomplish that (I have yet to finish something for the big guy, but I did start on something for him!), I still managed to complete 4 pieces. Which for me was a big deal considering this is the most amount of sewing I’ve done for any of them in the past few months! My sewing has been more down then up lately, until last week!
We also had some technical issues with the website and the community pool. In all honesty, we’re still having issues at the moment and I’m hoping to have it all fixed soon. This is the first time something has been beyond my understanding since I’ve taken over, so it’s definitely been a learning curve! And I’ve been working on it none stop since we found out about the problem to begin with.
But even though we had technical problems happening on the site, that didn’t stop you guys from sharing! Look up #kidsclothesweek and you’ll see that we were still all in this together and the projects that were made this season are just as amazing and inspiring as any other season. This is one of the reasons I love KCW, the community feeling that you get when we sew amongst one another for our kids. We’re all different but our goals are all the same and what we create is always amazing!
All this being said, I’m definitely looking forward to what’s coming next. I’ve got plans, and I’m hoping you’ll enjoy them! But for now, let’s announce the winner of the Puzzle Pattern giveaway!!!! I’d like to congratulate Liesbet Rommens!!!! You’ve won the entire Playtime Collection by Puzzle Pattern!! I’ll be sending you an email shortly 🙂
