Paper boat dresses and toy soldier shirts! I love the way you guys are playing with prints. Perfect for the theme and perfect for springtime too. Spring has sprung all over KCW–no matter the weather outside. Spring means pink! pink! pink! And there is lots of that in the project pool. And birds and princess kitties and bespectacled giraffes:)

Like clockwork every KCW, Wednesday comes around and your creative energy explodes. Maybe it’s the rush of finishing a garment, then suddenly you want to make another. Maybe it’s remembering that this really isn’t that hard and why was I putting it off anyway? Maybe it’s the sheer concentration of amazingness in the project pool–I must make ___fill in the blank___ after seeing that amazing ___fill in the blank___! Whatever it is, don’t stop!

the winner is...

The winner of the the Brooklyn Pattern Co. & Miss Matatabi giveaway is Jess from Willow & Stitch (a kcw contributor alumna!). Congratulations, Jess, you have won the Franklin dress by Brooklyn Pattern Company and 1 yard of fabric from Miss Matatabi! Don’t forget, today is the last day to enter the Oliver + S and Sew Modern giveaway.

Good luck and Happy KCW!

I am so disappointed–I somehow totally missed that this was KCW until yesterday! I follow on FB and I’ve always seen the information that way, but I think I’ve been checking less recently or else FB just didn’t place your posts where I could see them. Now I’ve followed on Bloglovin to so hopefully that won’t happen again 🙂 I’ll go ahead and jump in now, but grrr, I was looking forward to the whole week 😉 Ah well, such is life. Love the inspiration from everyone!
