A new season of KCW means new contributors! This season we have a fantastic group of women, each of whom has a different perspective on kids’ style and sewing. Let’s meet them, shall we?
Sarah has only been blogging at The Crazy Tailor for a little over a year, but she has already won over the sewing community with her gorgeous handmade clothes! The clothes Sarah makes for her young son and daughter are classic, a little bit preppy, and always well made.
Saskia lives in the Netherlands where she blogs at Vera Luna. She is a “scientist by day, seamstress by night.” Saskia has a style that is bold and graphic and often upcycled. She has a knack for transforming clothes with paint, dye, patches, and whatever else she can think up.
Holly blogs at Hamster and the Bee, where she sews modern clothes for her little girl. Holly’s style is simple, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t put thought into it. The details are just so, the colors just the right shades, the prints perfect (she is a textile designer by trade!).
That’s it! Only 3 contributors for this short winter season, but they have packed it full of good things for you! All this week they will show you what kinds of garment work well to upcycle. Next week they will show you all the things you can make with those upcycled garments! I cannot wait!
