Another season of Kid’s Clothes Week as come and gone. This season started off a little slow. When summer evenings are so lovely, it’s hard to sit in front of a sewing machine. But you put in a little time everyday and look at all the amazing clothes you made:

Many of you chose to make a garment or two with the theme KID ART in mind. I love all the different directions you took with this season’s theme! Your kids painted and colored on fabric, you ironed on their designs, you translated their obsession of the day into beautiful garments, and you chose fabrics that looked like little kid masterpieces. The results were one of a kind, just like your kid!

But first maybe a cocktail in the back yard. After such a phenomenal week, you deserve it!

For me the combination of winter weather and the Tour de France on TV late into the night was perfect for sewing well past my hour minimum each night. You can keep your cocktails and balmy evenings. Or, hang on, that does sound really nice…
thanks for a great Kid’s Clothes Week!
