Welcome to day three of Kid’s Clothes Week! How is the sewing going? Are you getting your hour in each day? Good–you answered yes of course:)
There isn’t really a good answer to the question, “Why do you sew?” Sewing your kids’ clothes is really not all that practical. It takes forever, fabric is not cheap, sometimes you project gets all kinds of messed up, sometimes it turns out perfect and your kid hates it. But these photos? These photos are why we sew. Gold trimmed linen shorts! Polka dot backed shirt!
Space themed tee! Raincoats with glow-in-the-dark stars inside the hood! It’s pretty amazing when grown-up creative energy combines with crazy kid ideas. You get something much more than a plain old t-shirt from the store.
The winner of the Project Workshop giveaway is Adam W. Congratulations, Adam! You have won a spot in the e-course “Creating PDF Patterns: From Sketch to Sale”! Today is the last day to enter the Wee Muses pattern giveaway. Don’t forget to enter!
Good Luck and Happy KCW!
