Today is the last day of giveaway week. We’re sad to have this week come to an end, but we’ve got a fantastic giveaway for you from Zonen 09!
Zonen 09 has taken the kid’s clothes pattern world by storm this past year. You haven’t heard of them? Here is Sharon to tell you about her company:
Zonen 09 is passionate about handmade boys’ clothing. We want moms all over the world to sew for their sons and not only do we want them to sew, we want them to love it. That is why we focus on designing stylish and comfortable boys’ patterns with extra detailed photo tutorials making it fun and easy for all moms out there to dress their sons in unique handmade outfits.
The patterns at Zonen 09 have a fantastic retro vibe! Some of them might look complicated, but every step in the sewing process is as detailed as possible. So even beginning sewers can use the patterns without troubles. And very pattern comes with many variations, so you can make it your own.
We have a special treat for you! Zonen 09 is releasing 2 new patterns next week and they have given KCW an exclusive preview! The first pattern is Theo, a button up with cuffs, a yoke, and stand up collar. The Theo pattern comes with an extensive photo tutorial, detailing every step. There is a version for beginners and one for advanced seamstresses (with bound buttonholes and welted pocket). And there is an extra version with the little corners done in a contrasting fabric. See those little orange bits in the photo above. Eek!
The second pattern is Ole, a button up cardigan with a hood. A hood! Genius, right? Ole also has options for elbow pads, snap buttons, inside pockets and pockets in the side seam. And the pattern gives you the option of making it reversible!
