kcw summer 2013 sign up

We are very happy to announce that the new Kid’s Clothes Week website is launching today! It is a beta version of the site, but a beautiful beta version! We wanted to get things started this summer, even though we knew not everything would be finished.  There is a lot involved in building a community on the web–much more than I thought! We want the kcw community site to be a place where you can share your projects and see what others are doing and discover new patterns and all kinds of other good stuff!

Right now, we are starting small. You can register on the site, create a profile, and sign up for this summer’s kcw. To help you do all of that, I’ve created a short video tutorial. I’ve never done a video or even put my voice out there on the internet, so be kind.

So please, go to the site! Sign up! Remind your sewing buddies that July 15-21 is summer kcw and they need to sign up too! Maybe even grab a button from the sidebar and slap it on your blog.

Happy KCW!

This sounds interesting, however I’m a complete newbie to all things blog related.
What exactly is Kids Clothes Week? I guess we just sew morning, noon and night for a week and see what we come up with.
Do we have to use patterns from the site, any other patterns we have or it must be an original?
Sorry for the questions, I hope someone/anyone can help, please….
    Thank you.
