It’s Friday–day five! How are you holding up? Sewing through this heatwave we’ve been having hasn’t been pleasant, but they say it’ll break today. Then we’ll have some lovely sewing weather for the weekend. Because KCW is a full week, remember?! I know summer weekends are busy, but I bet you can eek out an hour each day.
Look at what these sewer have accomplished this week! It’s all about committing to a few hours at sewing machine. And then you end up with something like this lovely voile dress by Erin!
Or these classic linen shorts by Teresa. They are sleek and rough & tumble at the same time–a hard thing to pull off, but necessary for little boys.
Perfect for summer: a little yellow polka dot geranium dress by Bethany. I love how the sleeve edges are simply zigzagged. It makes the dress nice and casual.
This floral swingset skirt by Meagan is absolutely gorgeous. The print is so fantastic that I’m happy she chose a shape simple for the skirt.
This print is pretty phenomenal too! The houndstooth hoodie was made by Jenny and it’s perfect for those chilly days at the beach.
